Engineering write-up
This M3 G80 runs a full bolt-on hardware package (downpipes, intake, upgraded intercooler) and is used exclusively for track days. We delivered a Stage 2 calibration on the Bosch MED17 ECU, scaling boost, fuel, and ignition maps for 98-octane fuel with a safety margin for track temperatures. The factory Vmax limiter was removed for the long main straight. Dyno results showed 620hp and 780Nm, with intake air temps held in check by the upgraded intercooler. The customer received a track-use disclaimer and a recommended service interval of 5,000km.
